Treated technical papers on reels.
Paper-based materials for primary packaging and for converters: not ordinary wrapping paper, but converted papers with precise technical performance.

Paper families
- Paraffin-coated and waxed papers: moisture barrier and good foldability, for sweets, chewing gum, chocolate and ice cream cones.
- Hot melt papers: heat-sealable, for closures and wraps on automatic lines.
- Extrusion PE-coated papers: the PE layer gives resistance to water and grease and makes the paper sealable; for butter, dairy and bakery products.
- Aluminium-laminated or metallised papers: barrier to light, aromas and grease, for chocolate and confectionery.
- Twist papers: they hold the twist of the wrap, for sweets and confectionery.
For end users and converters
The papers are supplied on reels, plain or printed. They serve both companies that pack their own products and converters that process them further: printing, laminating, slitting, formats.
For converters we offer them as technical semi-finished materials, with consistent properties and mechanical performance suited to high-speed lines.
Sectors
Confectionery, chewing gum, chocolate, dairy and butter, ice cream, bakery products, shisha tobacco and other food and technical applications.

We develop these papers mainly in North Africa: Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt, with both end users and converters.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between paraffin-coated and PE-coated paper?
Paraffin-coated paper has a wax layer: good moisture barrier and foldability. PE-coated paper has a layer of extruded polyethylene: more resistance to water and grease, and it can be sealed.
Are they also available printed?
Yes, plain or printed. Colours, quantities and lead times are defined with the manufacturer at the quotation stage.
Are there grease barriers without PFAS?
Yes, PFAS-free grease-resistant solutions exist. From 12 August 2026 the EU PPWR regulation restricts PFAS in food-contact packaging.
